Peoples’ experiences
Our 2021 concept focuses on how this year’s report talks about peoples’ experiences of care in England across the health and care sectors. We used a simple speech bubble shape to house images depicting care workers and recipients of care. On the main report cover these are set against a barchart background of corresponding sector colours. This concept follows through to the Monitoring the Mental Health Act report, with its usual orange sector colour.
“The success of the vaccination programme has given hope that the virus can be contained – but alongside this hope is the recognition that COVID-19 will continue to cast a long shadow over all aspects of everyday life, in particular the health and care system.”
